Problem Running Rome: Total War

Post by Darksider »

I just got the game today, and for some reason, I can only see half the screen. It's like it's trying to play it on a wider monitor, and cutting the image in half.

I can't figure out what the problem is.

I assume your computer is up to specs and you have the proper operating system? Video card issues, maybe?

Yes.

IDK if it's a card issue. I have a Geforce FX 5200 PCI, with 128 MB VRAM.

According to the requirements it should be more than enough to run the game

Application of patch 1.5 has corrected the problem.

However, does anyone know if there is a way to remove the turn limit for the single player campaign?

I know you could do it in Midevil: Total War, but I can't seem to find the option to do it in Rome.

I really hate playing with a doomsday clock set to go off blinking over my head.
