Does anyone know of any free iPod software that allows you to back a backup of all of the songs on your iPod? I am going to back them up before I send my iPod in to have its screen repaired. I tried using the shit known as Anapod Explorer but it fucking sucks. I need a response quick as I am shipping my iPod on Thursday. Thanks.

The songs themselves are just in hidden folders on the ipod. Can't you just copy them regular like?

Yes, you can. But I get errors during the transfer and the song names are random names.

Well importing them into a player will allow you to quickly rename them to the tags. But errors? Whole different kettle of fish. :) I can just drag the folder off my iPod?

Everything plays fine but I guess when I smashed the screen in out of anger it fucked up the disc.

I just checked which albums are on the iPod and I have most of them on disc. I guess I can do without the 10 disc Chopin collection.

Yamipod might be what you're looking for.
