I just found out this recently came out. While I always loved the CC games, at first glace it does seem a lot like CC3. Is there more then meets the eye or isn't it worth the buy?

edit: found more about it and appearantly there's a multiplayer Campaign system. This, the mod support and that it only costs about 30€ are getting me tempted to buy it regardless

I didn't know about the MP campaigns, but I've played a bit of SP and the gameplay is very very strong, far better than any of the previous incarnations.

I bought it last night anyway. The eastern front always fascinated me the most so I couldn't resist. CC5 in particular was lacking in tanks, something of which you have here more then enough.

Didn't had the time to check the multiplayer yet. Hopefully it works (got some connection issues with lately)

Hey Weemando the game looks virtualy indistinguishable from CC3. Even the maps in screenshots are same. What did they change beyond better mp support ?

The gameplay has been tweaked. Morale, pathfinding and especially LoS work WAY better. Morale is especially impressive now - read the Wargamer review for more details.
