OK, y'all, in the tradition of NationStates, I'm starting a SD.Net Clan at www.nukezone.nu

For any people interested in helping defend SD.Net militarily, let me know when you have a nation, and I'll invite your nation to join the clan.

As for me, I'm running the small land of SouthWeir, with the following military:

1 Aircraft Carrier
16 X-35 JSF
4 B-2 Stealth Bomber
6 Heavy Artillery
2 SAM Tanks
12 Heavy Tanks
2 Spies
2 Snipers
20 Rifle Infantry
6 Rocket Soldiers
10 Flamethrowers

Just let me know if you want in to SD.Net, and I'll pull you in as quickly as possible.

What's this about?

. . . I always get my ego in these things, and quit after losing.

It's a military-style game, where nations can band together in clans. I figured I'd start the clan for anyone on this board who wanted to join. You get money each hour and a turn every twenty minutes. Turns can be saved to build larger items or to build a lot at once. You start with a tiny amount of land, and can explore or capture more land to place buildings on to build units to conquer land to...well, you get the picture.

Not sure how fun it is yet (still under "nuke protection," a way to keep people from taking advantage of newbies), but it looks like it'll be pretty good.

Hmm... Just wondering, does anybody here play other webgames? I used to play Earth2025, and still play Utopia. I played Archspace (A game in Beta) for awhile before it went down.

I've found our first target once we've built up some military strength...clan Star Fleet. Like us, they have four members, but where our average value is $41 713, theirs is $414 872. I would say start researching heavily, build just enough defences that if we're attacked without provocation that we can survive, but try to get research labs and develop money and land. We may go after easier targets first to pick up some points and money to develop.

Hmm... count me in, as soon as I make a nation.

Incase anyone is wondering what we are talking about here's a link http://www.nukezone.nu/ Are there any lone nations? Or is it impossible to be alone without being conquered? How big are the biggest clans?

Yes; Just About; Limit is 20 per clan, but they have cash in the billions + several dozens of nukes and other special weapons.

I haven't been able to login yet! Can clans make alliances? That would be cool and we would be able to get passed the problem of 20 per clan.

Does everyone have problems logging in like I am because of to many players already on? Or is it a problem on my side somehow?

ive been on nukezone for a while now and every time im out of protection BAMM i get killed within 2 hours.... Damn those Nukes!
