Cell Phones and VOIP

This might be old news, as evidenced by the articles I've found, but I just found out about it through a commercial on television, so it's new to me.

Cell phones connecting to wireless networks in your house to act as VOIP phones is a very interesting development. I don't remember the specific provider offering it now, and I'm still doing some fact-finding, but this could be a very nice solution to consolidating phone plans, and especially useful to people that move around constantly.

I prefer Mig33 which uses GPRS internet provided by most cellular companies to make calls to telephones anywhere. There is no need to buy or subscribe to anything as the software is downloaded into a cellphone for free and ready to use with some starting credit.

And there even better software availble. This one claims to use wifi to call for free(to net connected devices) without even incurring GPRS charges. There is also a Beta Skype client
