My tribulations with AoW continue. First, my DA disk was destroyed. Having replaced it, my HT disk is now refusing to install. It doesn't even get to the menu, or complain about DA not being installed: it instantly gives me error 6001, and crashes out. I've tried running the setup manually, but it always happens. This is deeply annoying: between when I got HT and my DA disk died, there was only a week or two before I reinstalled everything. And I want my TOW Bradleys dammit!

I know a few people here have Act of War, so is there any special procedure I need to follow to get the addon to work properly?

There is a registry edit somewhere that allows you to install HT without having DA at all. I can't really help much further than that. AoW has crazy, crazy CD protection. Despite it being totally unable to run on anything but an admin account, it will let you use the same CD key across LAN. :S

Yeah, it's not the error I used to get with broken registry entries for DA. I'll look for this hack though, thanks.
