Hell everyone. I'm planning to do a Conquest victory. Is there any major tips and tricks that i should remember? Also, what Civilazation is best for this victory? I'm playing at Warlords level.

Civ 4, yes? Any specialties on the map set up? I usually play "Terra" or whatever they call the one with an Old and New World, so that affects things.

In general though, I'd say Romans or Russians. I usually do most of my conquering either early on, at the start of the Iron Age where the Praetorians rule or in Gun Powder Era where the Cossack is a cut above everyone else's Cavalry. I find using either one can get me a good edge, provided I have a stable resource connection.

Continents>Mid Sea Level>Temperate.

Is there an earth map for the Conquerers expansion?

What are you talking about? There is either Warlords or Beyond the Sword expansions! You sure you have the right game?

I meant Warlords.

The similarity between the names for the expansions can be confusing...
