What Doesn't My Laptop Like About Music Players?

I bought a new Toshiba laptop a few weeks ago, and I've been pretty happy with it overall, save for one thing. I've attempted to use both Yahoo! Music Jukebox and Winamp as my primary music players, but whenever I use them for very long, I get the ubiquitous Windows error message, complete with the supremely unhelpful "Report this Error" button. I haven't had any problems using Quicktime or Windows Media Player, but the error seems to persist for every other player I try. Any help would be appreciated.

What operating system are you using? Some version of Vista or another? What type of music files, mp3, wmv, aac? Detail!

Windows XP, and mp3s.

I apologize; my technical knowledge is rather poor.

See if you can update your audio drivers? Check Windows Update's driver section.
