YES! I loved the original.

I can't tell if the character is the same - the ending would tend towards no, but who knows?

God that was a great game.

Mafia is, in my book, hands down the best GTA style game ever, everything about that game was awesome, it's what the Godfather should have been.
My guess is they are going to aim for the simultaneous multiplatform launch, as usual these days, so I expect it to feel a bit dumbed down for the console, but the original wasn't really a complex game so here's hoping it turns out great.

Totally goddamn awesome!

Now we just need H&D3.

Screenshots look very promising. This one's been in the rumor mill for years now, so I'm glad it's actually going to happen.
