Golden Sky Combine
Prominent Players of the Combine
Archon Kergan Prasad - One of the older Archons, approximately 230 years old. Before the Deepening, he had blue eyes, though now has grey eyes, as everyone else. Keeps his head shaven, though wears a beard & moustache. He is the uncle of Templar Ayadi Prasad. He is the emissary to the Coalition of Nations.
Archon Aya Brea - Graduated from the ranks of the Jotun half a decade ago, she is one of the younger Archons, at only 68 years old. She has a bright and optimistic disposition, at odds with her close friend, the Archon Orgos. She is the emissary to the Straltoc.
Archon Kluya Orgos - Graduated from the Jotun to the loftier and more difficult work of the Archon at the same time as Archon Brea, Archon Orgos is cold, concise, and direct. She approaches diplomacy similarly to how she approaches warfare, though she always tries to act with the interests of all her people in mind, and not be too coldly logical. She is the emissary to the North Galactic Trade Federation.
Archon Amaya Inzeti - She has been an Archon for approximately two decades now, and has grown comfortable with her work, though still practices her skills learned from her Jotun days with zeal in her off time. She is known to be compassionate, though implacable when crossed. She is the emissary to the Cretecean Confederation, due to prior contact and goodwill.
Archon Mechle Skiad - one of the older Archons, though also one of the most capable. He also teaches the arts of psionic combat on Jotunheim when not attending to his Jotun duties. He is currently the emissary to the Heralds of the Xylyx.
Archon Ophelia Proudfoot - Becoming an Archon in the same year as Archon Inzeti, she has also proven herself to be a capable and compassionate diplomat and judge. She was sent to become the emissary to the League of Thought.
Archon Gunnar Mantruo - A fairly young Archon, he has served his post for slightly less than a decade with distinction. He was dispatched to the Khurlassian Republic before greeting their envoy at the border of Golden Sky space.
Archon Eva Bestillo - Having served her post with distinction for more than half a century, she takes quiet pride in her work of negotiation. She was sent to be the emissary to the Oberin.
Archon Mayhew Fenoxa - Serving his people for only slightly fewer years than Archon Bestillo, Archon Fenoxa also takes deep pride in his work. He views Archon Prasad as his mentor. He was sent to be the emissary to the Kingdom of Isdenestilom.
Archon Mei Toloa - One of the stronger telepaths among the ranks of the Archons, Archon Toloa was sent to be the emissary to The Wanderers due to her capacity of thought, and her compassionate, and yet fair way of dealing with others.
Templar Ayadi Prasad - An overqualified Jotun, she has proven herself in many engagements and deployments, not only because of how devastating she is, both alone and leading teams, but because she knows restraint when it is needed. Known for keeping a cooler head even for a Gliesan, she is well-known as a competent commander in both the GSC Navy, and in the Marines. Her uncle is Archon Kergan Prasad.
Templar Gabilan - One of the first Exites colony intelligences to join the Jotun Corps, Templar Gabilan has paved the way for his people to live and work alongside biological Gliesans. "He" is known to be logical and exceptionally precise, though understands compassion.
Ayodha - An Exite that never entered the military, and preferred instead to pursue an industrial/scientific path, she is already becoming recognized due to her skill as an artisan, as well as an engineer. One of her only failings is shyness and nervousness around non-Exites, but she is working to shed it.

Kiroter'nah Overflock - Characters
Tanah'ki-Orpalo#21-Avee'kamee - Senior member of the Xeno Relations flock, instrumental in the formation of the NGTO, later ambassador to the NGTO. Excellent public speaker, beautiful (by Kiro standards), idealistic, fairly good at realpolitik once she starts thinking along the right lines but hopelessly optimistic about peaceful solutions rather naive about her own people's capacity for deception and warmongering.
Tanah'ki-Orpalo#21-Kononaa'iit - Member of the Xeno Relations flock, helped greatly with the NGTO project. Less fond of the limelight that Avee (though still a good public speaker when he needs to be), somewhat less idealistic but better at analysis. He was responsible for convincing the Stellar Dominion that earth was a grave threat and that they should seriously consider joining the NGTO. Has fallen in love with Avee'kamee over the course of the story.
Taxaani-Rokain#4-Axaa'shan - Prime mover in the supremacist-xenophobe conspiracy within the Kiroter'nah special operations and intelligence flocks, also a major player in the NGTO-wide 'special committie for preemptive action against critical threats', pulled the strings to frame the Heralds for an attempted attack and to set up the proxy attack on Polish space.
?-?-Hannera - Member of the special operations flock and the conspiracy, commander of the Euthaniser. Something of a prodigy of Axaa'shan's. Was reponsible for the secret negotiations that set up the proxy attack on Poland.
Honush-Co'sota#36-Serenaas - The original Overflock ambassador to Earth and the CON. Originally a mediocre logistics officer in the Overflock's ground forces, he later became a mediocre diplomat and advanced his career primarily through political maneuvering. He was sent largely because the Xeno flock's best personnel were preoccupied with the NGTO project and he grabbed the opportunity for some prestige before anyone could move to block him. Went mad, ranted about the Hegemony plot to weaken and kill the Kiroter'nah via the cunning scheme of food irradiation, shot at Cahaan'nol, was eventually overpowered, stripped of his shell and locked up in a 'mental readjustment centre'.
?-?-Cahaan'nol - Kiroter'nah ambassador to Earth and the CON after Serenaas becomes unfit for duty, addressed the CON about the first Herald incident.
Honush-Co'sota#36-Tara'shaani - Enthusiastic, brave but inexperienced junior diplomat, the third member of the original envoy to earth. Goes to visit the Hegemony empress without permission, accepts an apology and reparations. The NGTO embassay station was her idea.
Taxaani-Rokain#7-Kari'naha - Commander of the K.O.S.C Elucidate. An aggressive no-nonsense senior member of the Special Operations flock. Wary of xenos and since her ship was shot up thinks the best human is a dead human. Emotional, some self-control issues. Currently assigned to protect and support the NGTO Earth Embassy Station, a duty she finds extremely distasteful. Has a mild hero-worship complex about Jaar'ethh.
Taxaani-Rokain#7-Myaar'neth - Deputy tactical co-ordinator on the K.O.S.C Elucidate. Aggressive, he likes shooting things up and is frustrated with the Elucidate runs away instead of fighting.
Taxaani-Rokain#7-Zaahneesh - Communications co-ordinator on the K.O.S.C Elucidate. Inventive, thoughtful. He came up with the idea of using the displacers to disrupt the Hegemony tractor beam.
Taxaani-Rokain#7-Bo'kaarisa - Engineering co-ordinator on the K.O.S.C Elucidate. An older female Kiroter'nah. Competent but dull.
Taxaani-Emeris#4-Jaar'ethh - Commander of the K.O.D.X. Destiny Star. Influential figure in the defence council, his career includes command of several notable ships and task forces.
?-?-Zakeraas's - Commander of the 'Sky Eye' station (male).
?-?-Taxaahnis - Watch officer at the 'Sky Eye' station.
?-?-Gyer'kett - Sensor specialist at the 'Sky Eye' station (male).
Pekkaasa-Kominir#1-Ochpoe'ehka - Admiral (equivalent), commander of the K.O.H.I. Chronostorm and the task force on the Herald border (female).
Taxaani-Emeris#2-Yaakee'ren - Commodore (equivalent), commander of the K.O.R.I. Black Lightning and its associated fast attack group.
?-?-Yakaath'rat - Commander of the Tangled Vector and the ill-fated Special Operations Group Theta, comprising the four cloaking minelayers that were destroyed by Kitaka ships near Polish space. Largely a political hack with little tactical or command ability, his last action was to order a suidice attack on a disabled Kitaka destroyer, as his ship had no chance of escape.
?-?-Ekar'iist - Tactical officer on the Tangled Vector, died in the 'battle of the backstab'.
?-?-Uuaa'khet - Commander of the Warped Rune, made the decision to sacrifice his crew and his ship to try and get a message out, rather than be run down like the other Kiro ships.
?-?-Eeth'naath - Chief engineer on the Warped Rune, came up with the plan to use the anomaly generator as a crude but very high power distortion ripple comms transmitter.
Kiroter'nah Overflock - Named Ships
K.O.S.C. Elucidate - Requiem-class cloak cruiser, carried the original Overflock delegation to Earth and the CON, was fired upon and seriously damaged by the Hegemony cruiser Kobe, later assigned to guard and runabout duty for the NGTO embassy station built in earth orbit.

K.O.G.C. Meteor - Ship in orbit above the NGTO conference site when the Herald probe incident occured.
K.O.S.C. Euthaniser - Infamous special operations cruiser, circumstantially linked to numerous incidents in the seven years since it was built, nothing proven though. Secretly destroyed the Herald probe to the NGTO conference, was later at the sneak attack planning meeting, then took part in the attack itself, destroying three Polish tracking stations.
K.O.S.C. Apprehension - Special operations cloak cruiser. Had an unremarkable career, mostly consisting of reconaissance operations, until it became involved in the sneak attack on Poland. Transported the League representative to the secret meeting under cloak. Was later hunted down and destroyed by Polish EW cruisers after a botched final attack on a Polish tracking station.
K.O.S.C. Foreboding - Cloak cruiser. Took part in the attack on Polish tracking stations, later relayed comms from the two remaining strike fleets to NGTO comms relays. Escaped to Bootswellington space.

K.O.R.I. Black Lightning - Nexus class battlecruiser. Was involved in the initial secret efforts to contact the Kingdom of Bootswellington.

K.O.C.D. Non-Euclidean - Another cloaking minelayer, made it into cloak but was hunted down by Kitaka destroyers and lost with all hands shortly afterwards.
K.O.C.D. Tangled Vector - Flagship of the cloaking minelayer group, destroyed in a suicide attack on a disabled Kitaka destroyer.
K.O.C.D. Warped Rune - The final cloaking minelayer, this ship deliberatly overloaded its own reactors in a (successful) effort to punch a signal through Kitaka jamming to inform the NGTO of what had happened.
Outer Defence Monitoring Centre #2 'Sky Eye' - One of the primary strategic scanner installations, located in Colony System Beta.
Kiroter'nah Overflock - Other
Anaytrean Cultural Development Flock - Producers of the hit holovid 'Pirates of Bootswellington : The Curse of the Atomsk'.
Kingdom of Bootswellington - Named Characters
Captain (later Vice Admiral) Robert Thule, the Duke of Wiesbaden - Originally captain of the Raven, visited the NGTO to negotiate with the conspirators, led the mission to destroy the Nephilim outposts, saved the king from an assassination attempt, led the mission into Polish space, went semi-mad, was dumped in an escape capsule for the pursuing fleet to find.
Captain Vyres, the Duke of Reichenwulf - captain of the Red Devil, tried to kill the pirate king, was killed by Captain Thule.
King Natan - Monarch of the Kingdom of Bootswellington.
Captain Ivanovich - Name given by the Pirate representative to the secret meeting where the plan to attack Poland was hashed out (may have been Captain Thule).
Captain Robertson - Captain of the Admiral Ainsley. Pragmatic and experienced commander, didn't rise further due to not being good at court politics. Gruff manner. Commanded a raiding mission to Portugese space many years ago. Mutinied and took command of the Bootswellington task force after Vice Admiral Thule ordered them into battle against the Portugese.
Lieutenant Cotton - Comms officer on the Admiral Ainsley. Doesn't speak out of line.
Lieutenant Swann - Helm officer on the Admiral Ainsley. Fiesty, outspoken, borderline insubordinate when ordered around by Thule.
Captain Hoskins - Commander of the Deep Eye.
Captain Messervy - Commander of the Dreaming Doom, the lead ship of the element that mined several Polish O'neill cylinders and asteroid colonies in the Bieszczady belt (at Ruda Slaska). Thoughtful, introspective, died in battle after the Polish did not respond to his demands and opened fire on his ship.
Captain Seyburn - Ruthless commander of the Wolf's Howl, mined numerous industrial and worker habitation stations in the orbit of Ruda Slaska III. Went down trying to destroy as many civillian ships and stations as possible, and to force the Polish to cause as much collateral damage as possible taking his ship out.
Kingdom of Bootswellington - Named Ships
Atomsk - Pirate super-battleship, legacy of the last King, who had an affection for impractically large weapons.
Black Earl - A Blackblade-class ship that conveyed 'Captain Ivanovich' to the secret meeting to plan the attack on Poland.
Raven, Corsair, Laughing Bastard, Gold Thumb, and Elsa - Blackblade class ships that took part in the raid on Nephilim outposts (i.e. the mission to frame the Heralds).

Cruel Trident, Dreaming Doom - Blackblade-class ships in the incursion fleet that ended up in the Bieszczady asteroid belt at Ruda Slaska. Mined several stations with 30MT fusion charges, demanded that the Polish negotiate for release of the ships they were holding. Of course they didn't reply and both ships were destroyed in the ensuing skirmish against a light carrier group, but not before setting off all the bombs.
Wolf's Howl - Blackblade class ship that mined numerous stations in orbit of Ruda Slaska III, destroyed by Polish task force while continuing to fire on civillian ships and generally do as much damage as possible.
