Problems Logging into BF2

Post by [R_H] »

I fired up BF2 (vanilla) this afternoon with the intention of enjoying a few rounds after a long week. However, when I got to the login screen, the password field was empty (I have it on Remember password). I tried the password I'm fairly sure I used for my account, but it spits out "The password provided is incorrect". Naturally, being a user of EA products I've come to expect bugs, and go to reset my password with gamespyid. I reset it, tried to log in, got the same error message and then reset the password again and got the "The password provided is incorrect" message again.

What's going on? Is EA having a problem, or is it on my end?

Thanks

You might want to verify that your keyboard is working correctly. Open up word pad and type out the password. Otherwise, you might want to get in touch with EA

I had a similar problem earlier today logging on with PR. But I re-entered my password and it then worked, so I don't know what to tell you.

Didn't work. I tried another one of my email addresses and another password...nothing. So I just created another account
