You know if you ask me, the attitudes of these miserable cretins are highly reminiscent of the fascist government's policy in Fahrenheit 451. Where books were burned solely on the basis of their contents. Ideas and concepts that threatened the insular bubble that had been established could not be tolerated.

This latest display of the persecution complex rearing its ugly head is just the icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned. Because not developing a game to archaic and backward standards along with not listening to a few shrill and ignorant lemmings is OH SO similar to the barbaric slaughter and denigration of a whole portion of humanity! How could I have not seen this analogy before?!

Make it into a plot element, where a bunch of backward traditionalist hicks in white sheets want to stop the damn muties from coming around and spreading their ideas, their "progress". We don't need no damn mutie telling us how to live our lives! They can form a No Mutants Allowed lynch gang, and get machinegunned down by the player. Huzzah!
