Oblivion mods...

A few months back, (maybe more, my brain has memory leaks resulting from poor code), someone, somewhere posted some awesome links to Oblivion skin/armor mods that made the PCs not look like ass. Now, being the smart guy that I am, I emailed these links to myself, so I wouldn't forget them. Except, when I checked for the links today, they weren't there, probably the result of some abject stupidity on my part.
Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I think the links originally popped up in testing, if that helps narrow it down/jog memories.

I dont know that mod specifically, but recently the major hub of the Oblivion modding community,
www.tessource.com went down due to conflict between the developer and owner or something. The community had basically put all its eggs in one basket and it looked bad for a few days, but luckily the files were recovered and can now be found at
www.tesnexus.com. Take a look there - it is by far the largest repository of Oblivion mods.

Ultra high, make your computer beg for death visual mod thread

General oblivion make better mods

I have high hopes when Kaboom goes final
http://devnull.devakm.googlepages.com/convergence
(FCOM: Convergence shatters previous barriers in the Oblivion mod community by letting you play four of the largest Oblivion "overhaul" mods at the same time -- Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, Martigen's Monster Mod, Oblivion WarCry, and Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items. It also seeks to show how new item and/or creature expansion mods can be added directly to this environment, and thus includes direct support for Bob's Armory.l)
There up to 8.8, once they release a gold it should a must download, because they are promising you the ability to switch between Mod's leveling lists, while retaining all the new quests/items/monsters as well as switch magic systems.

You're probably referring to the ones I linked to in my "Boobies." thread. Most can be found
here. (Free registration required)

Good lord, awesome links. Also, spot on, executor. The moment you said 'boobies' it all came rushing back in a flood. Beauteous!

Are there any major mods that are compatible with Shivering Isles? I went back through the old threads, but the mods there were all pre Shivering Isles.

Compatible with? Most everything's compatible with SI, since SI is its own self-contained entity. If you mean making serious changes to SI on the scale of, say, Oscuro's, then I'm not aware of anything out yet.
There are smaller cosmetic things though, for example I use a mega-pack that updates most of the clothes/armor in the game to be compliant with Exnem's, including SI stuff, unfortunately Oscuro's needs to overwrite some of that.

Not to necro an old thread, but I recently got Shivering Isles and thus have restarted a new copy of Oblivion scrolls.
In my previous game, I didn't play with anything but official mods, and I'm interested in modding the game now. Other than the obvious skill/attributes mod, I'm just wondering what other good mods out there you guys will recommend in terms of
1. Content based.
2. Mechanics based,(level based creatures or the like)

If you have the intestinal fortitude and the willpower for a challenge try FCOM:Kaboom. It combines the three most popluar mods into one as well as adding two dozen of the highest quality mods in Oblivion inculding dozen of new armors, new models and the like.

There's supposed to be a full exe does all the work for you soon, but that's been an "any-day now" for about two months.

From my admittedly limited reading on the internet(Whatever happened to the old mod sites?!?!?!), that looks like a massive overhaul.
So.... would it be compatible with Shivering isle?

Yes it is compatible with everything.
Keep in mind it's not for the faint of heart, at least in it's current form.
Once you get it working's it's got three games worth of new content however.

That's odd to me though. How does Franceso Leveled mobs and OOO levelling merge?
Perhaps you may list some of the salient points involved in the changes?
