Threads like this just remind me that I still don't have a Wii.

"Evil Nintendo" is my favourite new meme.

It's less accurate than 'evil Apple' and more amusing than 'evil Vista'? :o

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence (Vista).

Apple - Evil never looked so good.

I like that it'll be most effective with the young 'ns, which is what we need. Start at an early age, get the family involved. No more "hippopotamian land masses" hopefully.

No, take fitness advice from a WoW player. You know it makes sense!

Can Praxis tell us anything about how interesting it is? I mean, making kids/old people more active is a good thing, but it has to actually be fun and have records, profiles, milestones etc. And probably a shooting section. :)

Different people like different things. Those games don't look fun at all. While I admit that I don't like jogging (most of the time), I do like riding a bike, and I love lifting weights.

If you say so, dear.

It probably does have the records, even WiiSports has that in their Training or whatever mode.

I should probably get my Wii back from my friend.

Yeah, if they did the WiiSports thing and had messageboard updates on everyone's personal milestones, best times, etc that'd probably be a good thing.

Lifting weights might be fun in its own way, but I'm looking forward to trying that soccer minigame.

I actually played a Wii for the first time ever yesterday. I played Wii tennis, which was sort of cool, as I play tennis in real life, so I caught on fast. But whenever I tried to do an over head or sidearm, I lost the game. Fucking Hell.

It was actually quite challenging. I had fun with it, though I question the longevity. But if it's not too expensive, I'll probably buy it. If they can come up with enough minigames to keep it going, it might be the next Wii Sports...

It's supposed to be step aerobics.

I recall reports from E3 that Square Enix were very interested in the fitness board's gameplay potential.

Yeah, in Dragon Quest Swords II they'll make you physically walk the entire kingdom in your quest. :P
