Google Calendar syncing with Cell phone

Post by The_Mystic »

I'm trying to figure out a way to sync my new cell phone (LG 150) with my google calendar over bluetooth. I don't want to go online with the phone cause my data plan sucks and I'm cheap, which is why I'm hoping for a bluetooth solution. Any ideas?

yeah, I tried that, and I couldn't get it to install on the phone using Bluetooth. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Well are you saying you want to connect to google using bluetooth ? As in connect to the internet using bluetooth instead of your cellphone companies data service ?

yeah, that is basically true. I want to be able to have a program on my desktop that will download my google calendar and then push it to my phone using Bluetooth. That way, I don't use my cell provider's data plan, I use my existing internet connection that I'm already paying for.

A search on google turned up a few possibilities, including the one mentioned above, but none that I could get to work. Silent Sync (i think it's called) was able to detect my phone, but wouldn't stay connected, and there was little to no documentation to be found on it.
