Okay I'm getting fucking infuriated at this point. I have an A8AE-LE aka Amberine M SB400 (aka Fucking Rare Proprietary Motherboard Don't Even Ask About Support Like BIOS Updates!) with wonky DME1737 sensors that don't filter the extreme amounts of noise. This causes the CPU fan to randomly ratchet up to ~4600RPM and the case fan to go up to ~2500RPM AND THEN STAY THERE UNTIL THE ENTIRE COMPUTER IS POWERED OFF.
Note the thermodynamically-impossible peaks and dips in the temp readings; the real readings are the flat line. If one of those peaks were real, say a rise; the machine would halt instantly and likely burst into flame. If the dip was real, same again minus the flames and also the Laws of Thermodynamics would have been made a sad mockery.
Unfortunately the BIOS has user-control of fan speeds locked out; Fuck you HP and your Mommy-Knows-Best attitude!
Proprietary Mobo + Wonky DME1737s = FUCKING NOISY FANS!

Well I figured this thread would get exactly zero attention. That's why I posted at Bleeping Computer.
