is the article I posted. I'll quote that as it covers my opinion of the article as well.
Me wrote:In a recent interview with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, Reggie passed along some interesting tidbits. The article states that the Wii will soon allow for downloads of both complete DS games and demos. However, it is not a word for word quote, so the writer's interpretation of Reggie's statement is still open to question.

Below is the exact quote from the article.
Mr. Fils-Aime said that future DS device will be more tightly integrated with its Wii console. Complete games as well as game samplers will be able to be downloaded into the Wii using its broadband connection, and then transferred wirelessly to the DS.
The Wii already has demo download capability in Japan, and this article mentions a recent test run allowing baseball fans in Seattle to track statistics and order food through their DS during the game.

However, I do get the impression that the writer of the article is not especially familiar with the gaming industry; there is a few filler quotes from random analysts, some of which say rather silly things ("The DS is still a kid's device"), and segments that sound like they were quoted out of Nintendo and Sony PR brochures. Additionally, the article had to be edited twice, due to the New York Times misspelling Reggie's name, twice.

Let's hope Reggie doesn't take their names.

Interesting, huh? I'm curious if Reggie was just referring to DS demo downloads coming to the states and the NYT writer didn't quite get it right, or if there seriously will be full DS game downloads. If so, how will it work? Can you only play in proximity to the Wii? Will they release a DS memory card?

All I want is something comparable to what the Gamecube had in the form of an adapter to play Gameboy games on the big screen. I can't watch the DS's tiny screen any better than the Gameboy's screen for more than a few minutes without going cross-eyed. Granted, with the DS's slew of bizarre input features, I don't know how that's possible, but hope springs eternal that I'll be able to play the games without having to down two Gravol first.

New York Times were indeed in error.
