Explains what the BoS is doing on the East Coast. Includes cool concept art.

That's quite neat, although I'm finding that the energy weapon concept art looks a bit... fragile?
It doesn't look like the kind of stuff that'd have survived a nuclear war anyhow, and the plasma pistol looks like an ergonomic nightmare.
Also, the BoS is always cool (they were since Fallout 1, and Fallout Tactics was just as cool), and they seem to have gotten the theme about right, so I have increased hopes for this game. I hope they don't let me down.

Sounds like what'd happen if you gave the AdMech a Space Marine chapter of their own. Eep.

My hope rises for Fallout 3. It really does. I can't wait.

I have to ask. Is the fallout series any good? Because this game looks like it's going to be the shit, and I don't want to miss out on storyline references. I found a good deal on Amazon.com that would let me buy Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout tactics for about ten bucks before shipping and handling.
Is it worth it, will they even run in windows XP?

They run on Windows. FO1 and FO2 are somewhat dated, but still very playable. They're still in my opinion the best CRPGs made. Still. They pretty much defined what made a good CRPG.
FO:T was controversial, only because of a lot of expectations. It's still quite a fantastic game and runs perfectly on modern systems with good graphics

My two still run on XP. As for how good, depends on how one likes RPGs. It has an enclosed storyline and objectives that have to be met with a specific time frame, but it allows choice into the matter. The setting is certainly unique (given only Wasteland every tried).
As for the art, hells yes.

I'll echo Nephtys on Fallout Tactics. The key thing to remember is that it isn't really an RPG, but rather a squad tactical with the usual RPG elements. And a damn fine squad tactical at that, minus one horrific design flaw in the engine that deals with how burst fire is handled.
I tried to go back to get the Fallout experience with Fallout 2, but I found it too dated, primitive, and clunky to get much out of it, personally. I suspect it's one of those games that really has to be played for nostalgia nowadays, so if you've never played it, you might have difficulty.
