Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles

Post by CloudStrife433 »

Damn good game. I got stuck in it though, fighting the second form of Talos. So I loaned it to a friend for RE4.
What am I doing wrong? I use the MRL and whatever I pick up. Should I go through earlier levels and power level weapons/pick up ammo? Advice wanted and appreciated.

Know that the game is exactly the same in Co-Op as it is in Solo. Only the game was designed for Co-Op.(except the Solo levels)

Talos? Which guy is that? I've beat the shit out of the game--can you be more specific?

Tell me, did you watch any cutscenes?

Probably the one game on the Wii I'd really need right now. Sad, really, since I've no intention of getting a Wii for any single game, however good.

Maybe one day. Good to hear it's... good.

Yeah, but I don't recall them too much. What's really so hard about him? Basically, just shoot the hell out of 'im. Can you be any more specific? I don't recall having too much trouble. Are you missing his critical hit locations?

RE4, REUC, LoZ, Rayman, Cooking Mama, hell even Elebits is good for about 5 minutes.

Its the most powerful weapon, I think. Best I've come across. You get it in one of the Racoon missions.

He asked "What's that?"
This is a question that could inquire about the full name of the weapon in question or what the weapon is/does. I answered with the fact that it is a powerful weapon obtained in the Raccoon's Destruction scenario. Your post was for naught, your blood is forfeit, your soul is MINE!

Man, fuck the rockets. All you need are the shotguns and machineguns. You get way more ammo for them--you want every bullet to count too, so make you you upgrade them. You don't need to powerlevel them, you get enough S.T.A.R.S. points just by getting half-decent ratings. And then just blow the crap out of Talos. He's really not that bad. Make sure you do your button-pushing events correctly and he's really not at all that threatening, no more than anything else. Also, remember to use your grenades. Save up as many as you can for him and just be smart about it.

Well, I mostly asked because "MRL" (or "Merle") is generally the pseudonym I use online, aside from on this board. It's taken from those genetically altered mice, though.

Is the MRL that weird laser cannon that was put into the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4, or am I thinking of something else?

No, the Plaga Laser was in PS2 version. And no, not the same.
