This is a rather interesting game that I hope CA and SEGA will make...a total war game that link asia to europe.

Their half-assed website does not inspire confidence.

I don't see anything innovative, i.e., something I won't find in 'Age of Empires' or 'Empire Earth'.

And a glance at the China page shows no mention of catapults or other siege artillery. WTF?
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)

I like it how they call it "Strength and Honour" to evoke Gladiator, and probably in the belief that it's a legitimate Roman military phrase (much as R:TW assumed) - in reality, it's the school motto of Russel Crowe's school when he was a kid (IIRC), and he walked up to Ridley Scott on set one day and suggested using it, to which Ridley Scott agreed.

So its a cheap knock off of Rome Total War with less men on screen and poorer graphics.

I might buy it if it turns up in the bargin bin and I might download the demo when I get home but I'm not too excited.

No one to my knowledge has copied the total war format without failing totally. Just look at the crap that was Imperial Glory.

There does appear to be a few interesting features like the politics system and the army headquarters. Whether these are good things or not will have to wait until I download the demo.
