Wireless networking... my old arch nemesis... What's this?

Ever since I started running wireless security over my network, I've noticed that web pages are slower to load (which is probably normal), and that they often load incorrectly. I think it's called packet loss? I've been having to reload pages pretty often.
Any idea how I can go about correcting this? My other PC isn't having this problem, but it's on the same network.

What router model and what kind of encryption?

The problem seems to have been solved. I moved the router from off of the top of the modem to the next shelf up. It seems that just doing that solved all of the problems.

Ah, interference. As you found out, you should not have devices which provide radio signal transceiver functionality in close proximity to other devices that have strong enough electric or magnetic fields to cause interference. Classic example being the guy who called and whined about his WLAN not working and when I asked about the physical arrangements, his WLAN box was situated right between two gigantic monster speakers for his home theater system...
Though that bit about the placement you have had explains a lot of cases I had no solution for at work, so thanks, that information comes in real useful.
