Yes! The Scion Companion is actually a joint venture between our traditional and alternative publishing divisions, to provide you periodical content for Scion without leaving behind fans to love our hardcover books. The first four sections will be released as individual PDFs over the course of the next several months. Each of these sections will be sold for $5.49 from DriveThruRPG.com or its affiliates. You can also purchase a subscription to all four parts for $22.39, and you’ll get a copy of the entire Scion Companion for free! You can also wait and buy the entire Scion Companion on PDF for $22.39 when it releases, which will contain all the previously released sections.

Since it’s close to St. Patrick’s Day, we’re starting with the Irish pantheon: the Tuatha Dé Dannan. This section contains everything you’ll need to bring this pantheon into your cycle, including the gods of the Tuatha, a complete 1 to 10 dot write up of their pantheon Purview, new Birthrights, new allies, new antagonists, details on their Overworld and Underworld, a new Titan that plagues the Tuatha and two sample Scions (one hero and one demigod) so you can jump right into the game.

In the following months, we’ll release three more individual PDF sections containing a multitude of new powers for Scions, rules and suggestions for Storytellers, and another new pantheon: the Chinese Celestial Bureaucracy. The final two sections of the book (a third pantheon and a new background for Scion cycles) will appear in the final release of the Scion Companion, which will be for sale online and in stores as a hardcover book, as well as a complete PDF release combining all of the sections.
Now, there is another reason why I'm posting this. One of our good friends co-wrote the section on the Tuatha, and she's finally been allowed to talk about it. WhiteWolf has already extended her contract and she is working on another project for them, which is again under wraps for now. Understandably, I'm very happy for her, and I'm going to be acquiring Scion Companion by hook or by crook.

I always liked Scion even though I had to go and manually un-fuck a bunch of the mechanics (but I liked the maths and tinkering anyhow so that was pretty fun too), so I think I'll be acquiring this one too.

Wonder what their pantheon specifics are going to be. This should always be fun.

Same here. The fluff for Scion has been wonderful but I do wonder what they were smoking when they thought up epic attribute mechanics, especially when combined with multipliers from knacks.

Still looking forward to the companion though: Chinese Celestial Buraucracy and Celtic deities ahoy!
