I have two great ideas for Halo 3.
The first is a battle room online, which you could always join, many rooms constantly running on different maps, and in those rooms its endless fragfests. No ranks, no xp earned, just a room full of people with guns and explosives. Have team and solo rooms, and you have what could be considered awesomeness.

The second is basically a skirmish mode where you just fight wave after wave of Covenant and Flood. You could set it to first spawn a contingent of Grunts, then Jackals, The Brutes. Maybe set it so every x amount of minutes it releases two hunters. Have all the weapons on a small platform that you spawn on. Or even change it around and let you play as a Covenant Loyalist in something like that.

So, yay or nay?

Because a non stop frag fest would get lame after a while (and by a while, I mean 15 minutes). If you really want to do that, why don't you just, I don't know, make some friends, and play local multiplayer? And the second idea is more of the same, like some sort of endurance level (fucking Rogue Squadron). I hate those levels, unless it's done well, like SSB:B. Which is awesome if only because it's so new.

So after 15 minutes you could quit. You could leave at any time and it adjusts teams as needed.

And its meant to be an endurance level. And it would be fun.

I actually like the idea of fighting off hordes of Flood or Covenant, I guess those could be ranked though. But then again, I liked playing the Zombie custom scenarions in Starcraft so...

You don't seem to be overly retarded, so I'm going to give you a tip: shut the fuck up for a while. Read. When you have a feel for the sorts of topics people here are interested in, what is considered a good idea, or a good OP, then you should start topics. Until then, restrict yourself to reading, and perhaps commenting in other people's threads.

This will keep people from assuming you're a troll/spammer, because people are suspicious of anyone who acts like they belong when they haven't proven themselves.

That's why I told you to shut the fuck up. If you read some more, you'll get a feel for how you should word your topics, maybe realize certain topics dont have a lot of discussion involved (this topic is one such idea - there's nothing here but wanking over how awesome it would be to play a video game endlessly without earning any sort of reward for it, be it points/exp/medals).

By all means, a single day's reprieve from your hillbilly thought patterns would be a good thing.

Infinite spawning enemies suck. Period.

That said a level where you are trapped against a wall and a powerful Covenant force would rule. Such "hidden levels can be "unlocked" in Halo 1 and are among best highlights of the game.
