damn it.

just got up this morning played for maybe 20min and the game froze, i restart and get the rrod. this is the first time this has happened to me where restarting didn't help and I've had the console for years now.

i know that Microsoft usually repairs this for free but will they still do it if the seals broken? about three months after i got it, it stopped picking up the controller and i had already opened the case to dust it before i noticed the little button for re-syncing the controller.

i have enough money saved up to buy a new one if all else fails, but i was trying to build up that account so i could afford car insurance.

anybody know what Microsoft's policy on this is?

Its still good, register your xbox online and send in a support ticket, all RRODs are covered.
