What the fire truck is with my internet connection

Let's see Firefox has been dated for a while so, not to long ago I decided to finally upgrade. So I tried to download Firefox 2, during the whole process it gets to a point where it says, where do you want to install it and it won't let me install it anywhere even though it says 0KB space required 46.35GB available.

Another thing is every time I try to download something on firefox it shuts off (firefox not the computer).

And another problem is my internet explorer is running without add-ons and it won't let me re-enable them and also I'm not really able to download a lot on Internet Explorer either.

And somehow my internet explorer went back to normal. And Firefox closed on me when I tried to save the picture for my new avatar (this one's a keeper).

Did you uninstall Firefox 1 before installing Firefox 2? I think that's highly recommended.

If not, uninstall both of them, reboot for the fun of it, and install Firefox 2 (you can use the installer you already have.
