Right, so I finally found my copies of DoW and WA, but DC is missing and I'm not gonna go buy Soulstorm till it's cheap as fuck. I'm reinstalling them at the moment, but my question is this: is it possible to play online with people that have the later expansions if I don't?

No. The various changes to the game makes them incompatible.

That's what I thought, but I had a couple people tell me they were, so...thanks. Time to get reacquainted with the Guard now that the Tau are beyond my reach again.
