I have only so far tried the demo, but it is allot of fun and definitely a mayor improvement over its predecessor.
NL2 is your pretty average platform beat em up with a little twist: you can now use the mouse pointer to fight. Instead of mashing your keyboard, you mash your mouse button
But really, the game's combat mechanics are a lot more evolved, allowing you to not just strike, but grab your opponents as well as fly-kick them and hadokan them. Your mouse can also put up a shield anywhere on the screen, disabling smaller projectiles, allowing you mayor tactical advantage.The levels are thrown together awesome: there is literally not one calm moment during the game, enemies are always swarming in, mini bosses appear out of nowhere and something is always blowing up.
