RTW 1.5 patch up from 1.3, and this game seems to be a buggy shit fest that freezes, crashes the computer and at best it grinds to a yellow, landless pale blue with city names mess like a car without oil.
Computer is within system requirements by a good margin.
Any one seen this before? Ideas or is a reinstall called for?

I've never seen those kinds of problems with RTW 1.5, and I've installed it and re-installed it several times. I would suggest removing and re-installing it, and if you still have problems, check your video driver. The 1.5 patch itself was pretty solid in my experience.

Will do, thanks.

After some time (like a year without playing) I threw on whatever the newest patch was last year (probably 1.5) and it threw a massive wobbly. It was probably mod-related I guess, but I couldn't be bothered fixing it at the time.
