Toolbar problem

I just installed AVG free 8.0, but didn't uncheck the toolbar install so got stuck with it. I tried to uninstall the toolbar using add/remove programs, but it isn't listed there. How do I remove the toolbar then?
Edit: Nevermind, did a reinstall and got rid of it through that.
