The next expansion for WoW; Wrath of the Lich King has had the alpha talents leaked, you can read about them here;

http://urlshort.com/wotlk/site/talentlist.php

And some screen caps;

Some warning on the first link; someone on the WoW forums claimed that it had spyware on it, but I didn't detect it.

So, um, a few points. As a Warlock myself, it looks like Spirit is being forced on to us (yuck), and lol, I predict a flurry of Mage tears due to the talent 'Decimate'!

Rogues and Hunters are currently not in Alpha testing, so their talents are omitted.

EDT :: Changed the main link so other class/spec's talents are viable, sorry. :oops:

Probably fake in the end. TBC had some ultra crazy shit(like warriors able to hold One two hander in each hand...yeah dual wielding Might of Menethiel and Cthun's Axe would've have been the most borked thing ever :P ).

But eh, who knows...I am on hiatus until some friend wants me to help with his Arena team.

So we get to spend fifty-one talent points to get one a 31-point mage talent that also pops through Divine Shield. Uh...yay. Still won't beat a 0/21/50 build for damage.

As an aside, Blizzard is going through these leak sites like the wind of death, I've seen at least eight or ten things pulled within the past few days, so if you're looking, look fast.

EDIT: Big Lich King leak compilation, been up for a few days now: http://wotlk.wikidot.com/

Frequently updated with new information.

That's gravy, you're missing the obvious applicaiton; Rogue casts Cloak of Skill, you cast Decimate + Fear ... WHAT NOW ROGUE, WHAT NOW?!?!

You're right on with that one. And despite Destruction getting some love, it seems our once awesome PvP tree is still fundamentally broken for either PvP (I'm under no illusions that the now 11 point Soul Link will make a difference for a Destruction Warlock) and PvE (a raiding spec that requires 21 points in another to be competitive isn't exactly fantastic). On the plus side, we're no longer 1 button spammers as raiders, and Firelocks are getting a lot of love if this goes live.

Yeah, I know 3 have been taken down already. One was the same as this one so ...

Check out Fury's talents mate. Specifically; Titan's Grip

I'm leveling alts/farming honour at the moment. Got 100 marks of each BG, and slowly approaching 75k honour on my Warlock, Arena doesn't interest me unless I'm willing to spec SL/SL and bore myself to death. Just waiting for Season 4 to start, buy my season 2 set for my Warlock and stop playing until WotLK.

I just saw...and all I will do is laugh. And laugh hard...and loud, and harder still....and louder.

So, Screw getting the offhand of the Twin Blades. I will rape with Cat's Edge and Season Four Sword? LMAO.

The rogues hate me already...now they will screw nerf until the cows come fucking home.

I'd say do so. Arenas are kinda fun for small bits, but it is way too much "So are you right CLASS+SPEC? No? Get out."

By this point, something like that would merely make warriors not quite as shit....

Worth giving up Mortal Strike for it though? Healers are insane as it is right now, no MS = no pressure.

I'm trying to find a good Rogue that is willing to do it with a Destruction Warlock in 2v2 (and what a testament to how obscene Rogues are now, that the only viable double DPS set up has to include them). Should be able to get to 2k if the Rogue isn't completely retarded.

But if I find Season 2 gear just isn't doing it for me, I'll bite the bullet, get a Druid and farm Season 3 (Destruction) gear (Season 4 gear looks butt ugly, and it can bite my ass).

EDIT :: Typo.

Not to start a flame fest, but;

Not exactly inapplicable to today as it was back then. :P

Oh no no no...this is for raiding. That ability with the other fury talents will allow me to keep raiding fury without listening to one of our Twin Blade Rogue go "I could do more damage if you had Blood Frenzy up there!!!".

Oh, to put this in perspective...WITH THE TWIN BLADES...ON BRUTALLUS...she came in fucking SIXTH. I came in third under our uber Rogue(He got the first set and deservedly so) and our uber lock.

Oh ya, our Rogue leader is going to spitting his beer through his ears hearing this.

Oh yeah, Season 4 is fucking worse then any other season in terms of looks.

And yeah, I have a rogue I am leveling for Arena and fun. Warrior Arena is boring as shit. Sure I do a lot of little things but in the end it is me hitting "Hamstring/Mortal Strike". with alterations of Sunder Armor. And then occasional stun with Intercept.

Same tactics virtually for all classes, just mix and match on who to kill who.

How do such terrible players get warglaives? :(

There's two rogues in my raid. They compete for 1st and 2nd. They don't have warglaives.

Holy shit, I don't even raid, but I know coming in sixth with warglaives in DPS is just... Just SAD. I get ashamed of myself when, in the odd occasion I do actually do a raid, I come in lower than the top three. No glaives, funnily enough.

Well, crap, guess I should see about making another Stormherald at some point, shouldn't I?

So...raiding guild, terrible player...raiding guild, terrible player...why's he still in this particular high-end raiding guild again? Given the amount of attack power the 2pc bonus on the Glaives gives you, that's just not forgivable.

Because it's the latest in the batch of why the fuck?

1. He's a She. I know none of would would know it, but sadly it's a large reason why. She is literally all the bad that can come from a girl in WoW and there are guys who just won't say they like her on the A raiding team because she flirts with them.

2. She whores herself. I've unfortunatly knew her since one of my older guilds and she has ALWAYS sucked up to everyone and sucked as a player. In Naxx she bitched about not getting the best DPS swords/Maces when she was fucking crushed by DKP by another few guild members...and when she did get a really good weapon? She still trailed behind.

3. She is a lazy motherfucker. It's funnier when one brings up the WWS reports and look how bad she is, yet she eeks by...because her gear would make a blind retarded cat do high DPS. She's amazingly though kept a decent Combat Swords build(For a long time she was some half assed Assassination build).

Considering how fast Blizzard is going through these at least some credence has to be leant to them, and the druid talents have actually got me really excited.

Looks like resto and balance are getting some huge buffs in terms of utility.

The "leaks" are valid. The reason why is very simple: For a limited amount of time the Friends and Family Alpha was downloadable from the Blizzard site. Lots of people immediately downloaded it and all this information is from those downloaded game files.

However, seeing as this is still an Alpha, everything is still subject to change (as an example, Titan's Grip was also a talent in the BC alpha).

You CAN however see the rough direction they seem to be going. This includes apparently giving all casters good AoE spells, working CC, and making all casters dependent on a larger number of stats (spirit, spelldmg, crit, haste, hit are all needed/useful). They also seem to be trying to make dpsing more interesting for casters by making them do more than just spamming one key. Druids for example have the following talent:
http://wotlk.wikidot.com/ wrote:# Eclipse - "When you critically hit with Starfire, you have a 20/40/60% chance of increasing damage done by Wrath by 10%. When you critically hit with Wrath, you have a 20/40/60% chance of increasing your critical strike chance with Starfire by 10%. Effect lasts 12 sec." (Balance)
Warlocks get the following talents:
http://wotlk.wikidot.com/ wrote:# Decimate - Your next Shadow or Fire spell is instant cast, and does damage in the form of Chaos damage, ignoring all resistances, absorption, and immunity mechanics. After the end of the Decimated cast, you become exhausted, disabling you from casting a spell of the same school for 3 sec.
# Molten Core - Your Shadow spells and damage over time effects have a 4/7/10% chance to increase the damage of your Fire spells by 10% for 6 sec.
# Torture - After you critically strike with a Shadow spell, your next Searing Pain or Immolate spells have a [broken]% chance to become instant cast. This ability has a 20 second cooldown.
This would (finally?) force casters to react to what is happening in the game and not have a fixed spell rotation or a single spell to spam the entire time.

In addition, it is possible they are removing all pure DPS items and replacing them with the following talent (this one is from the Shadow Tree for Priests, the druids have a similar talent):
http://wotlk.wikidot.com/ wrote:# Growing Pains - "Converts 4/8/12/16/20% of your bonus healing into bonus spell damage. In addition, your Mind Flay has a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to refresh the duration of your Shadow Word: Pain on the target." (Shadow)
If you look at the current itemisation, then adding 20% of the +heal as +spelldmg makes it equivalent to a pure spelldmg item. However, the druid version only adds 10%, and the other talent trees don't have an equivalent talent, so it remains to be seen if they really will remove pure caster dps items.
