I vaguely remember there being some sort of application to download the contents of entire specific forums. Specifically I'm trying to mass save threads from a forum that is dieing.

I ran a search for it, but couldn't find it so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Running Linux?

wget -rH -Dserver.com http://www.server.com/

Will get anything not requiring you to log in.
You can wget for Win32 as well http://users.ugent.be/~bpuype/wget/

Alternatively, if your one of the luddites who has an aneurism upon having to type commands. You could use http://www.httrack.com/
