Thanks anyway, but less than 5 minutes after I posted the question, I found the disk. A quick look over the EULA says you may continue to use it even if your account was cancelled, so borrowing one from someone else you know with an XP Pro disc might also be allowed. I'd definitely try talking to the school first though.
