The website the article is linked to (supposedly the manufacturer) is www.oioo.de ; I'm assuming "de" is for Deutschland (Germany), which reportedly makes very freaky porn.

Anyways, I don't think much will come of it; either Nintendo will sue the sex toy manufacturers to prevent the product from reaching stores, or the intended targets (customers) will express so little interest that the manufacturers will judge it to be a money eater and cancel production.

There's a whole market sector for high-tech sex toys. Modern vibrators have increasingly sophisticated electronic controllers with a wide variety of vibration patterns, they can be controlled over the Internet, etc.

I think it's a market that mostly caters to people who have never bought a sex toy before or who seem to have lost sight of what a sex toy is for.
