If I found my original UO media from 1997 and installed it, would I be able to play(after updating for a decade)?

I used to play along time ago..even helped run a fansite for it. I quit after they canceled Ultima X: Odyssey, and tried replaying when I learned about the "Kingdom Reborn" Client.
I just can't get back into playing a MMO....and if I could have getten back into any of them, it would have been UO....

They use a emulator of the Shard Software, and you use edited connection files to connect the Ultima client to the server instead of the EA servers.Bounty wrote:Free shard? As in, no moneys required? How does that work?
