MP3 namer program?

Post by Zixinus »

My problem is simple: I've downloaded a large library of Newgrounds songs, some of them better then others, but there is a problem: the filename is only a string of numbers.

I noticed that on my MP3 and Window's property tab however gimes me the song's name, creator and source proper.

What I would like to ask, is there a program that would match the filename with the "internal" song's name? Because it would take forever if I would do it by hand.
Credo!

MP3 tag tools is free and pretty good. You can set up whatever expression you want for the filename (track # + song name for example) http://sourceforge.net/projects/massid3lib/

There are numerous sourceforge projects to do this, some better than others. Just do a search and find something that works for you.

The Godfather is a pretty good option. I know a few online DJ's that swear by it.
