So I want to set my router (my parent's router actually) to give my computer the DMZ. And I want to set this up with my MAC addresses. All three that can be presented to the router. I know that port forwarding can do this, and I know that having my computer in the DMZ is dangerous at best, but that's what I want dammit, and I'll have it.
Okay, so the crux of the problem is that A) the DMZ can only be set for one computer at a time, B) the WRT54G wants to use an IP instead of a MAC address, and B.1) my computer doesn't want to set a static IP and still communicate with the router. Installed firmware right now is the Linksys 8.00.5 that I just downloaded from their site (previous version was 8.00.2). I know that I can install a Linux firmware, and although I wouldn't be against that, it is my parent's router and network, and I'm just borrowing it for the time being. So that everyone knows, my connections consist of a wireless connection, and one of two NICs, although the cable is normally connected to the network printer. When I'm booted into Linux, wired connections supercede the wireless (like it should), and the wireless is actually disconnected, don't know for sure with Windows.
If no one has any ideas about how to get the router to use MAC addresses instead of IP addresses, I'll just set the router to use my current IP before I leave this weekend, and try to deal with it next week.

My brother and sister-in-law: "Do you know where milk comes from?"
My niece: "Yeah, from the fridge!"
