Fan-made pokemon MMORPG

Post by ray245 »

I have wondered why we have yet to see a pokemon MMO...even if pokemon is well suited for it.

Well...guess that some fans have made a free version of the MMO...

Although it seems rather buggy though.

I swear reading about something like this years ago (like, nearly a decade).

How long has this game been around?

It can't have been around for that long. Nintendo will surely shut them down once they hear about it.

Well I heard the original reason around the era of nintendo 64 or gamecube was that nintendo believed that internet gaming is a fad.

A pokemon game definitely would definitely make sense. It's a strategic game made to be played against others. I think that it would make sense and an easy transition as a mmorpg as well.

No, they are just cocks, like most game publishers. Or maybe all. I don't know of any that allow fan games in the same way LucasFilm allow fan films (and they are rather unique in that respect).

Nintendo will shut them down, sue there ass off for the code, then adapt it to work with Pokemon video games to bring you the first offical Pokemon online RPG system.

Because you know what, that would sell bigger then Everquest or Warcraft or anything else....

Hell, I'd play it. There was a Digimon-based Korean MMO awhile back that I got into the beta for, and while it didn't have much story or anything to do with the show, hey, I could kick the crap out of people with a green-and-white rabbit with Gatling guns for hands.
