Bangai-O is basically a game where you fly around in a giant robot and blow the hell out of anything that moves, shoots, or does both or neither. The game's signature is the ability to launch a massive swarm of missiles out in all directions when you're in a tight spot.Ford Prefect wrote:Clue us in gents. What is this?
Enjoy. But the video really doesn't do the game justice; he's making the game look really, really easy than it actually is.Ford Prefect wrote:Ahahahaha, what the fuck? That's ridiculous.
Actually, it's both enemy fire and your fire filling the screen. The game even admits that it can actually exceed the DS's capabilities, and fire too many missiles for the system to keep track of. You know you've gotten a good EX attack off when the game freezes for a good three seconds.Ford Prefect wrote:Ahahahaha, what the fuck? That's ridiculous.
But also genius. I presume that ti's of the 'screen filling enemy fire' find? I haven't played one of those in ages. Is the touch screen used in any way?
The dreamcast slowed to a crawl when you fired a full (400 missile) super.SAMAS wrote: Actually, it's both enemy fire and your fire filling the screen. The touch screen is used only for menus and the stage creator/editor.
