I've been thinking that the battery "life" (or rather ability to hold a charge) has come down recently, but HP Battery Check consistently shows the battery as not only in Good condition, but the green is 'always' full, the green going up to the 'bottom' edge of the circular battery icon top. I completely discharged the battery Tuesday night/Wednesday morning but got the same reading in HPBC, so should I keep at this or should I use the idea of timing battery life using Safe Mode? (As of this typing I have completely discharged a full battery, once again.)
Hope that this bit of information helps... the battery is a warranty replacement (swapped while the warranty was in force) for a HP Pavilion dv2120us, and I apparently have one battery replacement from my old CompUSA Technical Assistant Plan (which I think goes out of force in mid-December.
