So I shall be playing a ACW game relatively soon; does anyone want to be in the game as Generals?
I've already put Lonestar in:

So, is Loinstar's tactics an unknown because they are so new and epoch-making that no one can classify them yet? Or are they just so shameful that no one wants to mention it?
And sure, I'll put my hat in to fight the War of Southern Treason.

His tactical rating is unknown, and won't be revealed until he fights several battles. It's one of the options of the game, along with randomized general traits (so no always going for US Grant and WT Sherman right away; they might actually be zeroes).
This is also why lonestar SUCKS in ratings.

I do believe that one of the campaigners from my old wargaming days might be persuaded to sign on the dotted line.
Arnold T. Pants, at your service.

I responded to this thread? Well...duh.
Put me in under Charles Washington Mann. Then the South shall quake in fear when they must face the brutality of CW Mann.

Chuck me in the Union as William Mathers Anderson, I'll make Sherman look positively restrained when it comes to retribution.

The Union needs a little bit of Ernest William Fobes (Not my actual name, made up from three of my great uncles/grandfather's names.)

Trust me, V, you're not alone. My last name is not, indeed, Pants.

Pity Simon Bolivar is already taken by one of those dastardly Southern Traitors. Just throw me in with my real name, I can be General Laguna for the Union. If you need some background, my family fled Spain because of the Civil War (First Carlist War). It will be nice and ironic. Also, my character is Catholic.

Sometime in the 31st Century
"Is RoboLincoln ready for time travel?"
"Yes, yes he is. Prepare the time machine."
****ZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAP*******
So guys, it's 1861, and here are your alter egos:
I had the game randomly generate statistics for you guys and perks. Most of your skills are unknown as in ??? -- until you find out in combat what they're like. Some people's skills and perks are known, I assume from pre-war leadership in the US Army.

So guys, what do you want to do? Do you have any general ideas what you want your guy to do? Want to go out west and kill rebels in Kentucky? Want to stay, and ambitiously plot to murder the commanding general of the Army of the Potomac to rise to power?

Attempting to overthrow the callow, lax leadership will not be succesful until we gain more power and the support o the people through accolades and victories!
Lets go kill some rebels! Industrial centers (meaning, wool or somesuch shit) first! (even if I don't exist in-game yet
)

Let's open up the Mississippi to our navy, and cut off Texas from the rest of the Confederacy.
