Well, thanks to Nepthus I just discovered the Shockwave mod.

Now, as soon as I find the CDs, get my computer working again and find so free time... who am I kidding?

Anyway, I am curious about any other good mods are out there for strategy games. Are there any must haves? I'll probably get around to it in a couple years, but I am curious about how much people have done now.

The Star Wars mods for Homeworld 1 and 2 come immediately to mind. The first time I launched my perfect Imp Star Deuce I cried tears of joy.

Another awesome Homeworld2 mod is Complex. Basically, it adds a lot more depth to the game, with ranks, experience, 'honor', economy improvements, kajillions of new upgrades, some new ships...the list goes on. It takes a little getting used to, though. The damn maintenence fees gave me a lot of trouble at first.

IBFD for Rome:Total war. There is no better mod.
