So, anyone playing LOTRO, too, and excited about Moria? I'll just pretend there's someone else here besides me :D

EU servers will go down in half an hour until approx. 9.00 tomorrow morning while they update them for this first expansion.

I've spent the last couple of days finishing the epic quest line with my Champion and my Hunter, farming ore for the upcoming crafting factions, and paying a view last-in-some-time visits to the Balrog, Mordirith and other foes we came to love in the past. My only regret is that I've never participated in downing Thorog.

Tomorrow I'll roll a Dwarven Runekeeper and a female Hobbit Warden, then log on my Champion and stop by Elrond to see what he has to say about this new passage to Moria that suddenly popped up :D I guess it'll be a weird feeling earning XP again on my main toon, who hit the level cap about one year ago.

How will you go about the expansion? Ramble through the starting areas with hundreds fellow Wardens and Runekeepers, or dive into Moria right away, or just plain ignore the new stuff until the first wave has swept over the new areas? I'll definetaly check it out, but I'll find something else to do if it's too crowded - it was awful enough when the last new area hit the live servers earlier this year, I swore to myself to never stand in line for quest mobs again.
