Adventure game: A vampyre story

Has anyone else get this game? I am burrowing it from a friend who pre-ordered it but can't play it right now. The game is supposedly from the same developers/heads that made Monkey Island.
Story: It's a funny adventure game where you play as Mona, a newly-turned vampire who was kidnapped from Paris's opera and turned by a vampire named Shrowdy. One day, Shrowdy gets a stake from a pair of vampire hunters and Mona sees this as her chance to escape, with dreams of going back to Paris. She is helped by her pet/friend bat Froderick.
The story in-game actually somewhat betrays its cartoonish stlye, as rather disturbing areas are touched. The characters all have some level of charm and meaning. For example, you will learn more about Shrowdy and how he came to be. The story makes plenty of sense and has a strong line of logic.
Sound: The voice acting is good, except that Mona's accent can be annoying from time to time. The music is nice, traditional and not annoying. Every location has its own unique music.
Visuals: The graphics are very nice, with beautiful semi-fixed backgrounds and some 3D. The true glory is within the detail, in both the quality of colouring and the occasional (may or may not be interactive) visual joke. The visuals main strength, as expectable from an adventure game, comes from art direction rather than technology.
Gameplay: Your regular point & click adventure game, with as simple interface as possible. There are, so far, very few annoying arbitrary abstract puzzles and most of the game is trying to figure out the solution to the problem. Some of these can be unintuitive but as far as I played, you don't necessarily need a walktrough to complete the game.
So far, I'm only at Chapter One and the game feels pretty big.
