Yes I am a weak-minded fool. Only a fool would succumb to Blizzard's repetitive hack and slash game again. But I've been struck hard by nostalgia for the game (In one school term, I spent more time on battle.net than actually studying or doing homework ). I gave my DII CD to a friend and he's since moved overseas. I still have my old LoD expansion, so I don't need any help with the expansion.

If you have spare a cd-key for DII lying around that you wouldn't mind me using, please pm me.

That game is in the bargain bin for around $10 or so. Skip a couple of burger meals and you can buy the thing again, only this one is made XP compatible without any fancy tricks.

Granted, $10 isn't much to dish out (I checked the online store of my local EB Games, Diablo II goes for $20 something odd dollars...which is ridiculous) but Blizzard offers a way to legitimately download the games from their website if you have the CD key.

I lost my keys, so a few weeks ago I bought new ones from g2buy.com (yes, it's a sleazy chinese gold farm site, but the keys are legitimate) for less than $4 total, and then used Blizzard's dl system.

That site looks fishy as fuck. How can they be selling CD keys in anything even resembling a legal way?
