A while ago, Mike and a few other people asked me if there was a Medieval 2 total war mod that focus on Lord of the rings. I think you guys should take a quick look at this mod.

On the plus side, it looks like maybe their designs aren't entirely based off of the movies alone. On the downside, I saw very little in the way of either cool special units like Nazgul, Ents, etc, and nothing of sieges. Damn it, the best battle sequences in either book or film were sieges, not field battles.

Also, they really should have just used the movie music. I doubt it would infringe copyright any more than the project as a whole, and its better than anything they're likely to come up with.

Of course, its all a moot point to me, since Medieval 2 won't run on my computer.
