A while ago I mentioned that my motherboard was having issues with my mouse and that I could only use one USB port and if I tried any other USB port the mouse would not function, in fact one particular port caused the keyboard to stop working.

I simply put it as motherboard failing but the thing is, while all but one USB ports refuse to work with the mouse they do work if I used a USB flash drive.

So is it still my motherboard about to be toast or is it some driver issue?

Do they work if you pluck in a flash drive into the ports that work or do not work?

Either way, it sounds like it is toasting.

The flash drive works in the ports that won't work on the mouse.
