Lately no matter if I buy a game from a store, or download off the net I keep getting a file corrupted message. What's going on?

Star Wars: Empire at War
Tiberium Wars
Total War 2

An a shit load of games downloaded off Reflexive Arcade.

I keep getting the same message. Files corrupted.

Is it just a lot of shitty games I'm finding or is it my computer?

Some more specifics would be nice. Which operating system, when are you getting the file corrupted message, etc.? Do you get this message when you install, when it's loading a stage, during a save file load, what?

Sorry with these games I get the message on installation. Working off of Windows XP with my Compaq Presario SR1810NX

I just exchanged my copy of Total War 2 (Wal*Mart wont let me do a return thank you copy right laws), same results with the new copy.

The corrupt message reads something like data pack 0 does not match file on disk or something to that effect. I'll try for a screen shot.

Check your RAM and hard disks (in that order) with something like memtest86 for RAM and the manufacturer provided test utility for HDs.

I'm downloading memtest86 now. The systems scandisk program and my virus scanner say everything is okay other than a shit load of tracking cookies I keep picking up.
