Laptop trouble (blue screen reboot)

On start-up the very second that my laptop gets past the window's loading screen a blue screen flashes and my computer reboots. Now my laptop always did this every once in a while, but only went on certain sites (rottentomatoes.com was one for some reason) it was easily ignorable. Anyway, now when it reboots after the blue screen I start it under safe mode and it does it again before it could completely start. Any suggestions?

Well, what version of windows are you using, and what are your basic specs? Have you installed anything recently, before which it was working?

Do you have a "repair" or "recovery" disc?

Windows XP and I can get my hands on an OS disk, but that's about it.

I think it happened because I accidently pulled out my AC adapter on start-up.

I very much doubt that is the reason. Computers don't "just" BSOD unless there is some severe unrecoverable error.

If you want to try and salvage your current install, pop in the disc and run the Repair option. Also, disable the reboot-on-BSOD option next time, that way you'll be able to write down the error message and diagnose what's actually wrong in the first place.

How would I go about doing that?
