Browsing through Steam and I saw the X-Com Game bundle pack. I was wondering if they worked ok on modern computers as last time I tried to play X-Com: Apocalypse, I needed DosBox.
Specifically do they work on Vista, or do you need some emulation software?

Anyone know?

They work absolutely fine, they are automatically emulated. You just need to launch them like you would a normal game and everything is taken care of so you dont actually notice they're emulated, they just work.

One of the nice things about Steam is that the games they have are practically guaranteed to work, even if they're old. None of that old-school 90s-style cross your fingers and pray it works on your hardware stuff.

What a retarded question.

I lovehow one of the nce things about steam ... Is dosbox, though. Doing it yourself is trivial.
