Guild Wars

Okay, so I have just started playing Guild Wars for the first time in probably over a year. I find myself faced with two missions that seem impossible. One, because there are masses of enemies in the end of both of them, and two because the henchmen are weak, at best.
This got me to thinking, how are you supposed to do some of these missions without friends who also play? I don't really HAVE that many, and most of them are out of town...
How many have Guild Wars accounts? Because I only know about three people who play it, and I was just curious to see how many people on this forum play it.

And... Maybe I wanted a bit of help in one of said missions... But it feels weird asking that, even in the game.

Jesus christ. Man up and get a fucking PUG. Yes, it's suboptimal, but if you're too lame to meet people in a social multiplayer game, that's what you're going to have to do.

If you think it's 'wierd' to ask for help on a mission when the genre has ENTIRE FUCKING CHAT ABBREVIATIONS for just that, you're a fucking retard. How are you supposed to get people to help you if you never ask? You think they're going to see your frowny sadface and want to help cheer you up? Christ.

I'll ask, what version of Guild Wars? The original AKA Prophecies, Nightfall or Factions?

And which missions, is it still in Ascalon? I've got a level 12 warrior/ranger by the name of Prince Veyne if you want to add me and I might be able to help sometime.

Huh. You know, either soloing missions or PUGging has not been a problem in GW for me. Seriously, you're too shy to speak up in an on-line game?

Most missions can be done with henchmen and/or heroes. Just tell us the name of the mission and we should be able to help you.

The further into the addons you get the more you need to use human players to win, just go find a group, do the mission... then move on.

You don't even need to talk to them except to ask for help if your about to die or something.

Well, luckily I managed to get some help. Stark's comment pissed me off enough to ask around more. So I suppose that's a good thing. I have Prophocies and Factions, but this character is on Factions. The missions I needed help with were "The Captured Son" and "Quimang's Last Stand."
And I will add you, Jade Falcon. Thanks.

Okay, my Prophecies character is Prince Veyne, but you should be able to get my other characters. Mikal R Kayn (sue me its from a sci-fi comic and I was getting impatient for names) for Factions and Skarr Yeoman for Nightfall.
